I want you to feel safe and reassured about attending your sessions, and so I will be complying with 'covid secure' best practice.

Therapy can be safely conducted at a two metre distance.

I will provide hand sanitiser gel and ask you to use it on arrival (you may of course use your own if preferred).

There will no longer be a box of tissues, instead individual small packs will be available.

I will no longer be providing a jug of water, (but do feel free to bring your own drinks)

I will ask you to sit in a leather chair as this can be effectively sanitised with alcohol wipes between clients in a way soft furnishings cannot.

I will disinfect door knockers, light switches, handles etc before and after every client.

Confidentiality is an important part of therapy so I also need to advise you that if I were to develop symptoms of Coronavirus I would be obliged to give your details to the NHS track and trace team. This would simply be your contact details and would in no other way affect the confidentiality of your sessions with me. Please can you therefore ensure I always have up to date contact details.

I ask that you do not attend an appointment if you or anyone in your household has any coronavirus symptoms or have been advised to isolate by the NHS track and trace team. I ask that you notify me if you should develop symptoms.

I hope this has given you more information about in-person therapy, and I would like to remind you that you can also receive therapy via video call or telephone call if you would prefer that.
